Large 1-bedroom furnished apartment for single occupancy in North Park Slope. Same block as 2/3 train at Bergen. Only a few minutes to 4/5/B/D/N/Q/R trains at Atlantic Center Terminal. 10-minute walk to G train at Fulton and C at Lafayette.

Available June 15th through the end of September, with possibility of move-in a few days early. Some flexibility of dates, preference given to full duration.

This is a small building, with several quiet, long-term residents. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of 4th floor walk-up. Non-smoking, pets allowed subject to landlord approval and with a pet fee.

Home includes:
• exposed brick, high ceilings, hardwood floors
• bright bedroom with double-sized bed, and dresser and bureau for use, AC unit
• fully-stocked kitchen
• dining room with dining table and chairs, to seat 6-8
• bright large living room with pocket doors that can be closed for privacy/working from home, adjustable desk
• petite bathroom, petite bathtub/shower combo with excellent water pressure and hot water

The apartment is half of the whole floor of the building, running front (street) to back. You enter into a small hallway and on the left is the kitchen, which opens into the dining area, which opens into the living room. On the right of the entrance is the bathroom and then the large bedroom, which is in the back of the apartment away from street noise. Available to do Facetime or in person tours in coming week.

Price includes rent, furnishings, utilities -- Wifi, gas, electric, water, heat -- and bi-monthly cleaning.

The apartment is in a great location close to Barclay’s Center, and within easy walking distance to Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, Prospect Park, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn Museum and multiple shops, restaurants and bars. Laundromat and dry cleaners a half block away. Several grocery stores, gyms and fitness studios within a 10-minute walk.

About This Lister

I work in public policy and international development, including with UN agencies, private foundations, governments etc. I will be traveling for an extended assignment would like to find someone to use the apartment while I am away on this project. I have rented this apartment for a number of years and it has been my home base amidst all my long-term assignments overseas, so it is under market rate. The apartments above and below me -- with the same footprint and same set-up -- currently pay significantly more per month unfurnished, pre-utilities, without cleaning etc.
