You just found a listing for two rooms and a semi-private bathroom! Both rooms are not he ground floor of a two bedroom house, have newer windows. Bedroom and a separate office / craft room / study / room for your pet?

The rooms are on the same level as an open chef's kitchen, filled with modern appliance, 6-burner gas stove, full standing freezer and full standing fridge. The larger of the two rooms, the downstairs bathroom and the kitchen all look out onto a pretty massive backyard.

The house is accessible through a side entrance, through a mudroom / vestibule, which opens onto another shared space, which is the living room. It's filled with plants (more are welcome) pretty sparsely furnished room, intentionally... it's meant for rolling around on the floor and being on the ground, in general, as well as movie nights and informal dinner parties.

The upstairs floor features another two bedrooms - my own, and that of a housemate who has been here since June of 2025, as well as a two-room bathroom (with a two-person tub in the second room).

The backyards has a sprawling deck, accessible through the kitchen and adjacent dining area, and features four massive trees - two oak and two pine. There is plenty of space to host probably 50+ people, though we haven't had a party that big yet.

The basement has a new washer and dryer, tons of storage space, and could be used for a workshop or studio (as long as you're not using caustic or volatile chemicals).

There's no EV charging, and parking in on-street only (unless there's a snow emergency).

In general, we don't party or bring the party home. We love to cook, the place is pretty clean (all cleaning supplies are included int he rent) and use the house as a place of respite. There's no smoking or vaping in the house, and on the property in general.

The house is a five minute walk from Aldi, a ten minute walk to Planet Fitness, and a fourty-five minute walk to the Amtrak. Groceries stores are about a five minute drive to Shoprite, and about a ten minute drive to Walmart, Rolling Grocer or MX Morningstar.

Looking for someone who takes pride and pleasure in living in a minimalist setting with friendly and often busy housemates, who enjoy sharing food informally, and who go out together on occasion. Must be LGBTQ friendly.
