Hi there - My partner and I are subletting our cozy, street-facing studio apartment for three weeks while we're out of the city for work. It's a 350 sq. foot studio on a quiet, residential street on the Upper East Side. Peaceful neighborhood; perfect for one or two people. You're right around the corner from the Q train. 5 minutes to the 4, 5, & 6 subways. A 10-minute walk to the East River/ Carl Schurz Park. And a 15-minute walk to Museum Mile and Central Park.
ABOUT THE SPACE: The apartment is a fully-furnished 4th-floor studio (walk-up) with a full kitchen and two large north-facing windows, which let in a lot of natural light. You'll have high speed internet, a smart TV, couch, an office/desk area with a monitor, and wood dining table. Fun fact - most of the art in the room was made by my grandmother :) .
OTHER FEATURES:
- air conditioning
- two closets
- queen size bed w/ 4 pillows
- two standing laps, 3 tabletop lamps
- yoga mat, light weights + other props
- clothes steamer
- hair dryer
- vacuum cleaner
- full kitchen with electric stovetop/oven, pots/pans/baking tins, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee grinder, moka pot, electric kettle

Please reach out with any additional questions about what’s in the space.
ABOUT YOU:
Clean, respectful, quiet at night
I am a documentary film producer from New York and my partner is a college counselor from Germany.
I've lived in this apartment for 4.5 years and I love it. My favorite features about the space are the street-facing windows and original brick wall. I enjoy going to the movies (there’s an AMC a couple blocks away) and going on morning walks at the East River or at the Central Park reservoir. My favorite quick food spots are Tal Bagels, Gotham Pizza and Ralph’s Italian ice for dessert (healthy, I know! ;) . You have a bunch of grocery stores nearby - Whole Foods, Fairway, Target, Gristedes.
The other building tenants are mostly young professionals - friendly and quiet at night! My sister also lives in the building in case you need anything immediately. If any issues arise I’m happy to help and will be easy to contact during the entire duration of your stay.
August 18th - September 8th (somewhat flexible by a day or two)
$3,300 total for three weeks (+ $200 security deposit, to be returned immediately following your stay. No additional utilities fee.)
I would prefer a quick call or FT to make sure it’s a good match.
l'll need the deposit ($200) to hold the space, and full payment ($3,300) to hand over the keys. Thanks!
