The available room:
Unfurnished, front-facing bedroom 8’7” x 9’5”, with two windows and good natural light. Fits a queen bed and desk comfortably and has a full closet and radiator heat.

Laundry & neighborhood:
No in-building laundry, but wash-and-fold/laundromat options are less than a block away. Supermarket about 2 blocks away. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, gyms, and convenience stores nearby.

Transit:
Q train around the corner and 6 train two avenues away. ~20 minutes to Times Square typically.

Roommate:
You’d be living with one roommate (23F) who will remain in the apartment. This setup may be best suited to someone looking for a women’s roommate arrangement.

Utilities: Heat/hot water included. Electricity, gas, and internet will be split with roommate.

I’m one of the current tenants and will be working abroad for the next few years, so I’m looking to sublet my room for the remainder of the lease term (ideally for the full March 1 – August 31 period). My roommate (23F) will be staying in the apartment and will be the main point of contact during your stay.

I work full-time at a large engineering firm, and my roommate works at a research facility in Manhattan. I’ve lived in NYC my whole life, and my roommate moved to New York about a year ago.

We keep the apartment clean and well cared for and are looking for a responsible, respectful subletter who will do the same (especially with shared spaces and neighbors).
