My apartment has a large kitchen, a large music room/living room with a piano, and a large bedroom that looks out to Inwood park. The building is an elevator building (9 floors) with laundry facilities on the 3rd floor. Subway connections from the A and #1 line at 207th get you to midtown (A) or the Upper West Side (#1) in 30 minutes.

Inwood Park is directly across from the building and Fort Tryon Park is a 15-minute walk from the apartment. Both have wonderful trails and great views of the Hudson river. There are several large grocery stores, many bodegas, restaurants and shopping, and the new Inwood public library, all within walking distance of my apartment.

About This Lister

I am a composer-performer and a queer, elder artist. I will be conducting workshops and rehearsals, performing and teaching in Europe from January 2026 through the early fall, when my latest opera will be premiered. I am very excited about this! :) There may be a possibility to extend this sublet if other concerts get scheduled. I have lived in this apartment for 30+ years. The residents in this building are a mixture of artists, working folks, elders and families. We know each other and care for one another. The superintendant is great; both kind and dependable.
