Seeking a subletter for the month of July (July 4–August 3). Rent is reduced in exchange for light care of two very easy cats and one low-maintenance tortoise.
The apartment is a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath, two-story space with an additional office—ideal for working from home. Bedrooms are downstairs (naturally cool in the summer), with the living room, kitchen, and office upstairs.
Highlights:
heart of West Philly, 5 minutes from Clark Park
Large fenced-in backyard
One block from two trolley lines with direct access to Center City
A/C; bedrooms stay especially cool
In-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher
The pets are gentle, independent, and require minimal daily care—this is a great setup for someone who wants a comfortable, quiet space (with good animal company) at a reduced rate.
I make experimental chamber music with electronics—live performances where acoustic instruments and digital sound drift, collide, and occasionally agree. My work follows fragments: a gesture, a voice, a flicker of story that keeps expanding past itself. I’m drawn to warmth inside abstraction, to structures that feel alive and slightly unstable. I teach at the University of Pennsylvania.
$300 deposit at time of rental.
