Looking for a responsible and neat subletter for my Clinton Hill studio. I’ve lived in Brooklyn for 20 years and this is by far my favorite apartment and location. It’s a small apartment building with about 8 units. The landlords live in the building and are EXTREMELY responsive. The building is old but well-maintained.

The unit is on the first floor (not ground level) of a 5-story walkup. It's furnished with an island, chairs, a dining table, credenza, a bike rack, bookshelves, a queen-sized bed, and a couple of side tables.

The kitchen is small, but it is well-stocked. There’s a full set of pots and pans, a coffee bean grinder, a juicer, a co2 machine, a food processor, a blender, and a dehydrator. It is also well-stocked with spices, which you are free to use while you are here.

There’s an assortment of books, a projector, 100-inch projection screen (electronic/drops down from ceiling), and an Apple TV w/ Bluetooth speaker.

The location is great. It’s a walkable neighborhood with everything you need within a 15-min walk. Restaurants on Dekalb and Fulton and in between, multiple grocery stores including the 24-hour Mr. Kiwi, and the farmers market at Fort Greene on Saturdays. One sticking point for me is that there is no major self-service laundromat (I call one two blocks away).

If you prefer to travel out a bit, you’ll find several easy options. The C train is a block away and the G is two blocks away. Four main bus routes: B25, B26, B38, and B52 are all a block away. If you prefer to cycle, there is a bike rack in the apartment for your use and several Citibike stations nearby.

The ideal subletter is someone who travels light, is neat, careful, and not too loud. No smoking, NO PETS. I’m looking for someone to stay from August 18th until June 30th. The rent is $2600 – utilities included. A $2,600 deposit required.

Showing the apartment soon. The prospective subletter must be available for an in-person visit. No Zoom tours and no people can check out the space on your behalf.
