Welcome to your own Winter wonderland. The Berkshires offers all sorts of serene and scenic beauty amidst the falling snow. That said, the Spring/Summer are not too shabby either...

There's skiing/skateboarding/sledding/skating: Bousquet Mountain is just 8 minutes away, with Butternut, Jiminy Peak and Catamount also nearby. Hikes and trails abound as well.

There's museums: MASSMoCA, the Clark Art Institute (free snowshoes to hike up the hill and see the contemporary gallery) and the beautiful new one at Williams College (near their wonderful Barn Kitchen & Bar); plus, of course the Norman Rockwell Museum, Herman Melville's Arrowhead and Edith Wharton's The Mount.

There's restaurants: many offer reduced prices or Monday/Tuesday night specials in Lenox and Great Barrington.

And then there is cafe-sitting, coffee-sipping, cocktail-trying, people-watching, fancy grocery-perusing and window-shopping (gift, kitchen/home, clothing, antiques).

Simply put, the Berkshires -- and this studio -- offers a serene, quiet and easy-to-upkeep studio for you to settle into, whether for your own self-directed creative residency or just a change of scenery to work remotely for awhile...

Private rear entrance has a keypad lock; unfortunately, the apartment is not wheelchair-friendly at this time.
Other features include:
1. parking space in driveway for one car;
2. sheets/towels, full-size mattress with box spring with foam topper;
3. fully-loaded kitchen with pots/pans/utensils, new electric range and refrigerator (10.1 cu. ft);
4. mini-split for heat/AC;
5. large bathroom with walk-in shower;
6. shared patio and yard;
7. blinds on all exterior windows; and
8. high-speed Spectrum wifi and smart TV.

SE Pittsfield is a walkable and friendly neighborhood with cafes, health food store and more. There are buses and a few taxi services (no Uber).

By car it is 13 minutes to Lenox, 31 minutes to Great Barrington, 55 minutes to Warren Street in Hudson, 36 minutes to MASSMoCa, 32 minutes to Williamstown.

If you do not own a car, I am available for grocery runs (2x week) and can arrange for pick up at train (Hudson Amtrack) or bus (Pittsfield Greyhound). However, a car will make your life better here.
