Super cute little cottage in Echo Park available for July/August sublet.

I have use this as a writing studio and loved it. It's on a little perch, has a view out the window of bougainvillea, dappled light, and a very calming breeze in the late afternoon.

The cottage is detached and up a little hill from an apartment in a complex of bungalows. I rent the cottage from the apartment renter. She is very chill and has great vibes. She's in her mid-30's and also a writer/filmmaker.

The space currently has a desk, chair, lamps, a mini-fridge, and a little couch. You can bring in an air conditioner if you want. I don't have an AC and I use the space to write in the mornings during hot days, as it can get warm in the afternoon.

I can also empty the space if you want to use it more as an artist studio. There isn't any running water so it's better for an art practice that doesn't require cleaning brushes. It's not a precious space, and you can mark up the walls as long as you paint it white at the end of the summer.

The only catch is there is no bathroom.

Dates flexible and it can be pro-rated.
