The Listings Project holiday greeting was created by artist & lister, Ester Partegàs.

A visual artist and educator, Ester’s work uses multiple materials and media to examine everyday situations and objects — the common place yet overlooked in the urban setting. Her recent projects regard the street as a generative site, a place that recreates and transforms itself through countless exchanges between people and things.

Ester’s permanent public art work, The Source, is currently included in an exhibition at the Museum of the City of New York, Art in the Open: Fifty Years of Public Art in NY.

Ester’s work has been shown nationally and internationally in venues such as the Sculpture Center, LIC, NY; the Whitney Museum of American Art at Altria, NY; Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid; the Moscow, Athens and Busan Biennials. Her work is represented by Foxy Production, New York; Christopher Grimes Gallery, Santa Monica, CA; Nogueras Blanchard, Madrid/Barcelona.

Ester enjoys Winter solstices in New York City, and Summer solstices in Marfa, Texas.
