The neighborhood is peaceful but lively, highly walkable with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.
The room is a good size, about 20 x 9 ft and has a window, closet, and back door that goes out into a beautiful garden. Garden is missing in the room photo as its an old photo pre-garden.
This is an opportunity for a lease takeover through September 1st, with preference for someone who would renew for the next year. (all roomates are on the lease per landlord).
We’re looking for a mature, clean, friendly, female roommate who works outside the home most days and is excited to share a calm, respectful, tidy space (we’re not a party apartment and we don’t bring the party home). You’d be living with two women in their 40s who work in the arts/design world, plus one sweet cat.
The apartment is spacious, with an open floor plan and a large kitchen and living room. Shared bath. It’s comfortably climate-controlled year round with central air, and the shared kitchen/living room areas are furnished for the most part. A friendly cat could be considered on a case-by-case basis. No dogs. Must like plants.

Both have busy schedules and value a peaceful environment at home and good, respectful communication. We are an LGBTQ+ positive environment and looking for the same in a roommate.

The landlord requires a credit check, and that you make 40x the rent, have decent credit, AND have a guarantor. Sorry they are not budging on this, even if your credentials are good, they need a guarantor. You would be signing a sublease with the landlord.
