Neighborhood

Cole Valley, San Francisco

Size

700 sq. ft.

I'm traveling for 3 weeks and offering my space for free in exchange for taking care of my low key Siamese kitty Bailey.

About the location:

You’ll be getting a a great apartment in the quiet part of Haight-Ashbury, near the Panhandle, 10 min walk to Golden Gate Park, 20 min walk to Alamo Square park, and 5 min walk to Carl & Cole muni stop.

Cole Valley neighborhood is walkable and friendly, with lots of the most beautiful victorian homes iconic to San Francisco. There's cute coffee shops, a casual boulangerie, local cheese and wine shop, a local grocer and a whole foods all within 10 min walking distance.

About the apartment:

It's a cozy, cute 1 bedroom apartment with lots of windows and natural light.

There's a bonus room turned into an office space with a desk and monitor you're welcome to use. I've filled it with plants because it gets the most light throughout the day.

I've also got a nice, big eat in kitchen with a dining table. Unfortunately no dishwasher (sigh).

There's coin-op laundry in the garage below the building, really easy to access.

The apartment is on a quiet neighborhood street, facing the back the part of the building. It's absurdly quiet for San Francisco, yet still super walkable to all the fun things to do in the area. I really scored with this one.

Other extras: There’s garage parking for a small car, bike storage, and access to a peaceful little backyard where I like to enjoy my morning cup of coffee.

About the cat:

Cat duties are pretty simple, just daily refreshes on food, water, litter, and some occasional snuggles. Bailey is really friendly but is definitely a cat's cat, she'll want to get to know you a bit from a distance before she's your best friend. She loves belly rubs.

About This Lister

I'm Paula Rigoli, a 40 y/o living in the bay area for the past 11 years. During the day I'm working from home as a software designer.

I've lived in my neighborhood for 5 years and it's really my home. If you have any questions about things to do in the city, I'd be happy to help.

I love reading and cooking. So there will be plenty of cookbooks (especially vegeterain/vegan friendly) and books around if the interest strikes.

I tend to keep things neat and clean, and am respectful of people's space, and I hope you'll do the same when my home becomes your home!
