Looking for one person to add to our Ridgewood 3-bedroom apartment! Amazing location about 4 minutes from the Forest Ave M and 12 from Myrtle-Wycoff M/L, near lots of great bars, restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. The apartment is on the second floor of a small building on a relatively quiet residential street.
The bedroom has a backyard-facing window with nice light, a good sized closet, and currently has a full size bed but could fit a queen. We share a kitchen, living/dining area, a big bright bathroom, and a hallway with lots of storage.
We are looking for a long-term, queer-friendly roommate in their late 20s/early 30s who wants to contribute to making a comfortable and beautiful home. With two roommates moving out at once we have flexibility with the common spaces and want to transform them beyond what's currently going on in the photos. Ideally you are someone who enjoys living with people, can navigate conflict with maturity when necessary, proactively cleans up and after themselves, has an active life outside the apartment but doesn't bring the party home (occasional guests are fine!).
Utilities including WiFi usually come out to around $50 per person per month but more in the summer/with AC. No laundry but multiple laundromats very close by. When moving in you'd pay a security deposit of one month's rent plus a one-time "lease transfer fee" of $150 (the entire fee is $300 but it would be split in half by you and the person leaving).
S, 29, she/they, moving to NYC from California. Loves swimming, film screenings and comedy t-shirts.
Z, 30, she/her, has lived in the apartment for a year. Works in education, loves cooking, pottery, books, doing yoga, seeing movies, etc.
The rental company requires an application, ID, and recent paystubs.
The landlord doesn't allow dogs but we are open to a cat on a cat-by-cat basis!
