We are a couple in our 30s, both writers and design lovers, traveling over the new year, and would love to share our space with anyone visiting NY and looking for a truly great space to stay.

We’ve put a lot of love into the apartment—it’s a rare, oversized one-bedroom just off Columbus Circle. An ideal holiday-season home base. The building has a 24-hour doorman.

Inside, the apartment opens into a huge living room with a Restoration Hardware sectional, an upright piano, a large dining area, and two desks for working comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, and everything needed for cooking at home.

The bedroom is unusually large, with a king-size bed and two walk-in closets (we’ll empty one completely for you). The bathroom has a shower and tub.

You’re steps from Central Park, a block away from Broadway Shows, a short walk to Lincoln Center and the Upper West Side’s Strand bookstore, and right above Hell’s Kitchen’s great restaurants and nightlife. Every major train line is right outside the door (A/C/E, 1/2/3, Q/R/N), making it easy to get anywhere fast (West Village is an easy 15-minute train ride).
