10'x 6'5" Beautiful tiny 1961 vintage (mostly original) camper trailer in excellent condition that you can use as an additional work space and take out on the road.
I'm a writer who needed a work space outside of the house. I fell in love with this camper. We have it parked in our backyard. The table was perfect for me to set up a desktop computer and the homey, retro vibe was an inspiring place to write. You can also take it camping or to the beach like the previous owner.
There's a twin daybed/sitting area with a skylight. Lots of upkeep like new screen door and trailer hitch. Sealed roof. Working electricity with new battery used only two months - all you need to do is plug into a regular socket. Two outlets inside the camper. Comes with the cords you need.
This is a CA perm trailer so you can park anywhere, unlike an RV. Roof work was done by Ron the RV Roof Man by the previous owner. Has done great outside in all weather.
There's no toilet/shower. Currently, no running water, A/C, or working fridge. A small built in fan by the desk is lovely. For colder mornings I have a space heater which I can include in the price. I’m told the gas can work, but I didn’t need that so I didn't have it fixed. I can refer you to a super knowledgable auto mechanic and handyman in Pasadena, CA who did all my repairs if you want to do more. Lots of potential depending on your needs.
Sad to let go of this, but we are moving to NYC where I can't park it anywhere. Asking price reflects my base costs plus repairs. I'd love to find this camper a new home!
I'm a writer and my husband is an actor based in NYC and traveling often to Los Angeles for family and work.
This camper is NOT for rent. It is for sale. You will need a vehicle with a hitch to move it from San Gabriel, CA. My driveway leading to the backyard (where the camper is) is narrow. We moved the camper in with a U-Haul which worked. You will also need to get the title changed to your name after purchase.
