Dates: Sept. 1 to Oct. 1
Alternatively, you could have the entire apartment from Sept. 1 to Sept. 14 and then move into the smaller bedroom for those last two weeks (the cost for that arrangement would be $2,000 for the month).
"Oh wow, this looks much better than the photos"- past subletters
I'm looking to sublet one room in my cozy two-bedroom Williamsburg apartment. The bedroom is on the smaller size with a twin bed, small desk and clothing rack. The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen (no dishwasher), living room that gets nice light, one bathroom, and a second room that is mine. It is full of plants and art.
The apartment is one block from McCarren park, and has a view of McCarren park pool from the living room so that's a nice touch for summer. The street is very quiet. It's about equidistant from the Lorimer L and Bedford L (10-minute walk). Near lots of great restaurants and bars.
This is an old tenement style building, and the apartment is on the fourth-floor (no elevator). It is fully furnished. It is very clean and I'm looking for someone who would keep it that way and treat it as their sanctuary.
I'm in my mid-30's and work from home in public health. Things I like: football (soccer), the beach, music, yoga.
I grew up in NYC and think there's no place like it so am happy to give recommendations to visitors.
Pronouns: she/her
Send me a note with your interest, timing and info about you including social media/any Airbnb reviews.
I'm happy to show the apartment to anyone already in NY or send a video to those who aren't (it's a bit easier to capture than with photos).
There is a contract that the subletter will need to review and sign before moving in, which includes a security deposit.
I'm looking for one person, with no pets, who values a clean space and doesn't bring the party home. I'd prefer women and nonbinary people. Since it's a small, minimal space, it's ideal for someone with minimal things.
