Hi! We're subletting our two bedroom apartment in a Hamilton Heights/Harlem brownstone. This is a sublet with an option to take over the lease when it ends in June 2027. We're leaving the apartment because we're moving out of state. Utilities not included in rent.
(Note that there are stairs to get in and out of the apartment.)
The apartment has two bedrooms: one is fairly spacious and can fit a queen size bed and two dressers, and the other smaller and could fit a full size bed but it'd be tight (we used it as an office/nursery). There's a large, private backyard.
The neighborhood is super quiet and friendly, lots of parks. There's a grocery store and laundromat right down the street and A/B/C/D train half a block away. The 1 train is within walking distance. You're right by CUNY and relatively close to Columbia.
The apartment is located on 148th street between Covent and St. Nicholas Ave.
My husband and I have lived in the apartment for almost three years, most of it with our dog and some of it with our daughter. We're moving out of state and subleasing until our lease ends in June 2027.
Our landlord will have the final say over the subletter, and you will need to meet him before signing a sublease agreement.
Pets are allowed but there's a $100 dog fee and $50 cat fee.
