*There is currently a bit of transition in the apartment as 2 roommates leave. I am planning to rearrange a few things, tidy up, and paint a few walls in the common areas, so the space will look and feel different (but more homey) before you arrive!*
I have 2 rooms available starting on February 1st. The room pictured with items is $1500/month and includes a private bathroom. This room will NOT be furnished when you move in. The room without items pictured is $1400/month and includes a shared bathroom with bathtub. Lastly, I listed the rental as 1 year lease because that's what I am on, but I am open to month-to-month or shorter term tenants as well
A bit about the space:
A 3 bedroom 2 bath, open floor plan apartment. HUGE WINDOWS creating a ton of natural light!
2nd floor walk up and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
In-unit Washer/Dryer and Dishwasher
Wall mounted heat and A/C units in each room
1 block from B/Q/Franklin Shuttle at Prospect Park stop
5 minutes walk to Prospect Park at Lincoln Rd Entrance.
Ample food and bars in the neighborhood.
One room is facing Flatbush Ave and will have street noise.
Utilities split 3 ways ranging from ~$50-$150/month
Hi! My name is Rachel. I've lived in PLG since 2019 and this apartment since 2021! I love this neighborhood and this space. I'm looking forward to another year of enjoying Prospect Park, the local food and flavor, and the cozy space I am cultivating.
I like to keep a tidy space in the common areas, but am not a neat freak. My ideal roommates would be people who clean, kind, queer and artist friendly folks with excellent communication skills. This space is designed for folks who value a peaceful, relaxing, and cozy home to recharge in
A bit about me:
I am a freelance photographer working with newborn babies, professional dancers, and a few non-profits across NYC. I am an artist by trade and in my heart and deeply queer. I have a sweet, loving, angelic cat named Soup. She is a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you she will crawl right up in your lap if you let her. Unfortunately, as she was a street cat, she does not do well with other pets.
