We are (sadly) moving for a new job after 6 years of making 68 Richardson St. our home.
The apartment:
3 bed, 2 bath apartment with a spacious kitchen (including new dishwasher and fridge), more cabinet space than we knew what to do with, and a large living room. Manhattan skyline views from all rooms plus an amazing roof with tables and chairs.
The location:
1 block from McCarren Park and 5-10 minute walk to the L and G trains. The street is very quiet, with a fire station just down the block (they're very quiet). There are also great bars and restaurants right nearby (Pete's Candy Store, Beco, Talea, Silver Light, etc.) and two Citibike docks, one on each of the parallel blocks.
The building:
Electronic doorman building with an elevator, laundry, and bike storage.
Other:
The room divider was the first piece designed and built by my wonderful former roommate, Mark (https://marksejourne.com/) before going on to be featured in Architectural Digest, etc. It is available for sale separately or with the lease.
I am the current tenant. I'm posting on here because we have to break our lease and I'm worried we might have to pay the marketing costs for the landlord to show the space if we don't find someone first :)
I'll put you in touch with the landlord. May 1 lease start! This is a 12-month lease, not a sublet or lease takeover.
Our neighbors have a dog so I assume pets are allowed...
