Looking for a studio mate to share our studio / office space located off the Halsey L train.
You'd get about 50 square feet with the potential of expanding a bit more if needed (can discuss). The studio is on the first floor, and is street level (meaning a very easy load-in + load out!).
There is a great HVAC system (heat + a/c), and free wifi. There is a slop sink directly outside of the room and a bathroom as well.
We are owners of a vintage clothing store in the neighborhood, and use this space to store our backstock of clothing and accessories, and to price and examine items.
Because of this, we can't have any messy paint, fumes, etc. Another textile artist, vintage reseller, someone with a non messy art practice, or someone needing a desk away from home would be best.
We'd also be open to someone who just needs to store items.
Let us know what you'd like to use the space for, and we can discuss.
We are two best friends and business partners that own a brick + mortar vintage store in the neighborhood. We also have a rock band and have been friends for 24 years! We're both queer friendly, love helping our neighbors & our local community, and have a passion for art, music, and vintage clothing.
We use this spot as a storage space and a place where we can do pricing and research. We also eventually want to sew and mend more items out of there as well.
We're open to putting up more shelving, art, and making it more vibey.
1st month + one month security deposit.
We'd ideally like someone long term, but let us know your situation and we can discuss.
No lease, but the owner of the building might want to meet you.
