We are the owners, we are two film industry professionals who are renting out the top unit of our home in Forest Hills. Our tenant of almost three years had to move suddenly, and we are looking to rent the space starting 5/1.

The unit is a renovated 3-bedroom duplex with 1.5 baths, hardwood floors and tons of cute vintage 1940 details. Not pictured is the DISHWASHER in the kitchen that we installed for our previous tenant, and the private porch that is only for this unit's use. There's a beautiful shared yard in the back, and a shared basement with laundry (we have been alternating days with our current tenant but welcome to whatever works for you) and storage. A parking space is available right in front for an extra $200 a month.

We're at Metropolitan and Selfridge Street, super close to Trader Joe's, Forest Park, all the adorable shops and restaurants on Metropolitan, and buses that will get you anywhere, including to either end of the M (we're right in the middle), or right to Bushwick/Williamsburg.

The house is zoned for PS 144 which is one of the best schools in NYC.

We bought this house because we were tired of getting taken advantage of by less-than-kind landlords, and so we ourselves strive to create a really positive environment for our tenants. We live downstairs, and are always on hand to repair or address any issue with the unit.

We also are both freelance creatives, so we understand how unfair and unreasonable the rental application process can be. We are willing to listen and go case-by-case to find a good fit.

We are also flexible about lease length, and open to shorter than 1 year leases.
