Hi! I am looking for a roommate to fill the second bedroom of my 2-bedroom apartment.
About the unit:
-brand-new kitchen appliances, including a stainless-steel sink and fridge, and marble countertops
-the kitchen, living room, and bathroom are fully stocked and furnished, so all you would need to bring is furnishings for your room
-washer/dryer on the first floor
-the bedroom has two walk-in closets and hardwood floors
-the apartment community has lots of families and young working professionals
-3 minute drive to Stop&Shop, Planet Fitness, Dunkin, Chipotle, CVS; 5 min drive to Target; 7 min drive to Assembly Row
-having a car is strongly recommended. there is a large, private parking lot next to the apartment with plenty of parking spots
-heat, hot water, and garbage disposal are included in the rent; the tenants are responsible for electric and WiFi
-the maintenance worker also lives in the building, so any maintenance issues (which are few and far between) are dealt with usually within the same day
-it's a 1-year lease, with the opportunity to renew
Hi! My name is Isha, and I’m a 3rd year psychology PhD student at Tufts. I consider myself to be a pretty easy-going and friendly person who gets along with just about anyone :) I’m a musician (singing, piano, guitar) and frequently perform at open mics or gigs on the weekends, but I usually don’t practice too too much at home. I go to campus a few times a week, and the rest of the time I WFH. I keep the public spaces quite clean and organized, but my personal space… that’s a different story, lol. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, so chances are your sleep schedule won't bother me. I have a long-term partner (lives in NYC) who visits once or twice a month on the weekends, but I would definitely give ample notice for that. I love baking/cooking, being in nature, trying out new coffee/boba spots, and messy reality TV. I enjoy hosting people for dinner/movie nights every now and then, and would be more than happy for you to do the same! When it comes to guests, I’m pretty flexible.
-having a car is strongly recommended, as the closest T stop is a 6 minute drive away.
-no additional pets, there is already one (very sweet and friendly) cat who lives here and unfortunately she does not do well with other pets
-security deposit required upon lease signing (1 month's rent)
