Subletting Beautiful Bushwick Artist Loft
Looking for someone to sublet my cozy artist loft in the heart of Bushwick! The space has tall ceilings and huge south-facing windows that fill the apartment with gorgeous natural light all day — perfect for painting, writing, sculpting, dancing, or just soaking up the sun.
Located half a block from the Dekalb L stop, and right across the street from a grocery store and laundromat, it’s super convenient and right in the middle of everything.
The loft has a queen-size bed in a cozy sleeping nook with a couple of house plants, heating and air conditioning, and a cute bathroom with mirrors and a walk-in shower. The full kitchen is perfect for cooking at home, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, and the couch/futon can easily turn into an extra bed for guests. There’s plenty of storage — a double clothing rack and three dressers.
For fellow artists: I’m happy to leave my easel and trolley, so you can set you can set up.
It’s a truly beautiful and inspiring space — full of light, warmth, and good energy. It would make anyone who stays here very happy.
No elevator , 3rd floor , friendly neighbors and super
I’m a full-time painter and have lived in this beautiful loft for the past two years — it’s truly been a dream home. I’ll be away visiting family for the holidays and am looking for someone kind and responsible to sublet and keep the studio loft warm and happy while I’m gone.
You’ll be in touch directly with me throughout the sublet, and my partner will be in town and available to help if anything comes up. We’ll meet in person for the key exchange, and I’ll make sure you feel settled in and comfortable with everything.
Everything in the apartment works perfectly — just two wall outlets are out (I’ll tape them off), but there are plenty of working ones around the space.
Sublet Requirements / House Notes:
-Full month payment is required in advance to secure the sublet.
-Must be able to meet in person for key handoff (no lockbox).
-No smoking inside the apartment.
-Be respectful of the space, stay safe, and have fun — it’s a happy home meant to be enjoyed!
