A multidisciplinary artist is seeking an assistant to help bring performances, storytelling, and music to wider audiences. This role combines organizational support with creative skills, ensuring both the artistic and practical sides of projects run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate with booking venues (inquiries, scheduling, follow-up)
- Assist with show promotion, including outreach and audience engagement
- Maintain and update the Squarespace website
- Create and distribute newsletters to the artists’ community
- Design basic promotional materials using Canva or similar tools
- Support general organizational tasks related to performances and releases
- Social Media scheduling
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with Squarespace and newsletter platforms (e.g.,
- Mailchimp, Substack, or similar)
- Basic graphic design ability (Canva or equivalent)
- Experience or interest in music, theater, or creative industries a plus
- Self-motivated and able to balance both detail-oriented tasks and creative collaboration

- 5-10 hours with room to grow
- $28-35 depending on experience and qualifications
