Seeking a new roommate to fill the cozy second bedroom in my 2bd 1bath park slope apt. Preferably full year 10/01/2025-09/30/2026, but can discuss shorter period if needed (minimum 4months). Seeking ASAP move-in.

This is a quiet, top-floor unit with natural light, kitchen space, dishwasher, tall ceilings, and short walk to the subway (5 mins to G, R, F). Located in south slope, ~15-20min walk straight to the park!

Room is green, blinds are installed, has a closet and a south-facing window. Full size mattress and 2-drawer chest are available in the room but can be removed if you prefer to bring your own furniture! Room is a bit tight if you frequently or primarily WFH, but has previously comfortably fit a secretary desk. To reiterate, the living space is fully furnished and the available bedroom currently has only a mattress and small chest.

I began subletting this space in May from a fabulous roommate who lived here for two full years but moved on to a new neighborhood 💔 Hoping to find someone just as lovely to replace him. I re-signed starting 10/1, and this room is available for ASAP move-in. All photos are current.

Looking for someone who is clean, responsible, friendly, and respects use of common areas / wants to build a happy home together. Great for someone who appreciates vintage decor and has a sense of humor.

Your share of the rent will be $1550 plus half of utilities and wifi. Please note that you’ll also need to purchase your own renters insurance. This is a smoke-free and PET-FREE home. Not interested in short-term sublets or couples.

Please write a bit about yourself / your routine, and why you think we’d be a good fit! Also appreciate any indication of your timeline for move-in and relationship to the city :)

About This Lister

A bit about me (female, 22): I work in fashion, love to write and make art, cook vegan food (nothing elaborate but I do cook nearly every night), and spend time in parks or perusing art galleries. I moved to Brooklyn earlier this year after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am a night owl and tend to be friends with my roommates (no pressure). I’ve lived with both men and women previously.

Clean, conversational (but can respect personal/quiet time!), and excited to welcome someone new to the space. Always down for a wine night and spinning some records if that's your style.
