Has one full bathroom with tub and towel warmer, large kitchen with cherry cabinetry and full-sized appliances, lots of counter space, and a 14-foot-long leaded art glass window. LVP flooring, mini-split, ceiling fan in bedroom.
There's rocket-fast WiFi, designated off-street parking near your door, on-site laundry, use of a great pool, outdoor space, and all utilities are included.
The property has many bearing fruit trees and the garden was once featured in the LA Times as an example of waterwise gardening. The neighborhood, Shadow Hills, is a quiet equestrian area, about 20 minutes to Pasadena or DTLA.
The pictures show it furnished, but it's available either unfurnished or with some furnishings.
We look forward to welcoming the newest members of the community! This property bears fruit in abundance, much of which lands on the plates of top restaurants in the LA area. We are happy to share the bounty, and excess gets donated to food banks. We live on the property as well, and can therefore be on top of any maintenance issues that may arise. We have carefully created this space over the decades and are intimately familiar with its charms and its upkeep. We are there if you need us, but all spaces are remarkably private.
First step: application for each adult. There's a $45 fee per applicant that covers the credit check (650+), income verification (2.5x monthly total), rental history check (no eviction proceedings or property collections), a thorough background check, and identity verification, completed through trusted 3rd party sources. Proof of income required.
Upon approval, the first month's rent and a deposit equal to that amount will be required when the 1-year lease is signed.
This is an agricultural area, and livestock guardian dogs work on the pesticide-free property. Well-behaved indoor pets are welcome, as long as they get along with the resident working dogs. There is a front garden where you can walk your dogs, and a fenced area next to the guest house that can be used as a dog run. The neighborhood is great for dogwalking.
