Hello! I'm subletting my furnished apartment while visiting family in California. I just moved here a few months ago and let me tell you why I love this space.
1. The location -- super walkable. You're on 1st Ave and East 15th across from Stuytown. You have access to amazing food and bars in East Village (Veselka, La Cabra, Cafe Panna, don't get me started). Trader Joes and Whole Foods are a 5 minute walk away.
Plus you don't have just one train line - the L is a block away but walk 10 minutes and you're at Union Square with access to the 4, 5, 6, N, Q, R, W. Super easy to go uptown, downtown, into Brooklyn, etc.
2. The quiet! This apt faces other people's backyards/ courtyards. There are mourning doves and cardinals outside. Zero street noise.
3. The space itself. You'll have a fully furnished kitchen with gas stove. The bathroom has a full size shower and tub - you won't feel cramped in here! As for the bedroom, it's light and airy. The windows are over 8 feet high and I love them.
4. Building details. You have a gated lobby and are on the first floor - no stairs. Radiators in bedroom, kitchen/dining room, and bathroom. Multiple laundromats 1-2 blocks away.
Utilities are included in the weekly price. Open to shorter-term stays at $100/night. Sorry no pets or smoking indoors.
NOTE: Dec 18-Jan 4 is also available if you're interested in any portion of that time.
I'm a working professional in my late 20s. Just moved to NYC from California. Since I work from home, my space is super important to me and I'm looking for someone who will also treat it with consideration!
$700 security deposit and payment before check in.
