We are located on a quiet dead end street on the border between Bushwick and ridgewood. We have the top floor of a small house. The floor is wood, we have exposed brick wall and other charming features like two bathrooms, wooden furniture a light filled kitchen etc. The layout of the apartment is we have a living room with projector and couch, we have a guest room/work room two bathrooms, and a kitchen. As-well as three bedrooms and your room would have the private balcony.
We have washer, dryer in unit too. Our apartment is filled with art, a few carpets and wooden furniture. It is cozy and warm, as-well as bright in your room and kitchen, perfect for receiving guests.

The area is quiet when you walk up the hill to ridgewood, close to quirky attraction the onderdonk house but becomes more lively when you near the train station. The Jefferson station is 0.8 miles away or a 13 minute walk. There are a few buses around as-well as two night clubs that you can walk to but are not in ear-shot. The street itself and our neighbors are very sweet and quiet.

Your room, has big windows and good sunlight, and is smaller than the other two rooms but has its own private balcony with fairy lights and a table. It comes fully furnished with wardrobe, king sized bed, dresser etc.

You have two roomates, we are all in our late 20s to early 30s.
We keep a clean space, especially living areas. Mostly your roomates will be out working or enjoying new york city but we are also all friendly when seeing each other and sometimes watch movies together.

Hi! I am Leander Franke, they/he. I go to grad school at the New School and originally from Berlin, Germany. I work as a teaching assistant and research assistant at the university. I also am an artist who makes films.
We are looking for a chill roomate, who will be clean and respectful but also is okay with the occasional guests coming in and can be quiet in the morning as our second roomate is a bartender who works late night shifts as-well as the occasional late night cooking.
I also hope you enjoy the balcony with all its beauty and might let the other roomates use it too as we drink a beer on it occasionally together. Cigarettes and weed are allowed on balcony. Please clean up after yourself before leaving the sublet and while living there as it is not a hotel or airbnb.
