I am the current tenant of this beautiful loft studio in the corner of a renovated brownstone. Located on the fourth floor, this apartment has four windows, high vaulted ceilings, a lofted sleeping area, a separate storage area, and a new bathroom with a tub. The kitchenette includes a two-burner cooktop, fridge, and stove.
The home is on arguably one of the prettiest blocks in Brooklyn, between Fort Greene and Clinton Hill—two blocks away from the Clinton-Washington G and five blocks from Lafayette C.
I have a six-month work commitment out of state and am looking for a responsible subletter from May to November 2026. My landlord has graciously approved this sublet. Ideally, this person is quiet, and tidy. No Smoking. If you’re someone who likes to host frequently, this may not be the most convenient space to do so.
The brownstone has several considerate tenants. We are all tidy and quiet (no big parties, etc.). This is a passive home, meaning it’s a renovated airtight building with a progressive ventilation system that makes for a very comfortable, quiet, and energy-efficient living space. It also means we abide by house rules that keep the space clean and quiet.
I may be able to be flexible on timing. First and foremost, I am looking for someone who will respect the space and be reliable. I truly love this apartment and want to find someone who will as well.
Rent does not include utilities.
If you're interested, please write. Tell me about yourself, your timing, what you'll be doing in New York.
I am the current tenant!
Rent & utilities deposit, as well as first month rent required prior to moving in. Sorry, but no pets. Prefer to rent to one person only.
Per building rules, I will do a background check ask the sub letter to have:
- 10k in bank account
- personal, work and/or prior landlord references.
- proof of income
It's most important to find a good fit, a conscientious tenant who cares about the space, surroundings and the world we live in!
Tenant has to follow strict NYC trash separation guidelines and believe in life of reduced consumption.
