Hello!

My name is Tony and I’m looking for a roommate to move in the first of next month, May 1st! Location is two blocks away from the Nostrand AC line, and it is the bottom and first floor of a beautiful Brownstone. Your room is the street facing room on the first floor that looks out on a beautiful tree lined street. There is laundry in the apartment and we also have a big back yard that only we have access to. Full living room on the bottom floor and a large kitchen.The landlord lives in the building and is a nice guy, haven’t had any problems in the year that I’ve been here.

A few things about myself, I am a 36 year old cis white male. I am a Woodworker/ artist with my own shop in Redhook of which I spend most of my time. I am a textbook Type B personality. Very laid back, I am clean but am known to leave a jacket on the table, shoes in random places and (never with food on it) but a dish in the sink for 24 hours haha. With all that though, I’m very apt for communication and constructive conflict. All to say I will always find solution to ensure a mutually respectful and harmonious home, but yer boi is a scatter brain mess sometimes. I obviously work out of the house and am rarely home during the day. I do watch friends dogs frequently so there will be dogs around now and then. I also plan on getting a dog in the fall so dog friendly is required. I love animals, so cat or dog would be welcomed with open arms. I rarely drink and my only real hard line is that I would really prefer minimal/no weed smoking in the house. I would love someone who has a full friend group, really utilizes this very large apartment to be social and entertain. Love the idea of having gatherings in the summer, cooking together and collaborating on the layout of shared space. I also love games, I could come off a 15 hour day and if you invited me to throw on a show and play scrabble im there!
