This beautiful guesthouse studio is nestled in our private, lush backyard beside an olive tree and an outdoor patio in Mar Vista (east of Venice and south of Santa Monica). The recently remodeled guesthouse features a kitchenette unit with a 2-burner stove, sink, and refrigerator. In addition to the kitchenette, we provide a microwave and toaster oven. The cozy studio has its own entrance and private bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a tankless water heater.

We live on a beautiful tree-lined Mar Vista street and have a lovely backyard area with tables and chairs. The guest house is currently furnished with a queen bed and desk. It has lovely high ceilings, a hardwood floor and a large loft for storage.

Mar Vista is a quiet, friendly Westside family neighborhood, with a vibrant Sunday farmer's market, unique shops, wonderful local restaurants and coffee places all within walking distance of the guesthouse studio. Santa Monica is 10 minutes away by car. We live a couple miles from Venice Beach and the bike path. It is a very walkable and quiet neighborhood with easy street parking (we provide a permit) and very kind neighbors.

About This Lister

We have been living here for 25 years and our guest house/studio is in the back. As a private chef, I work at home and at my clients' homes. I love to garden so we often have fresh tomatoes, figs and lemons. My husband, David, is a writer who works from home. His office shares space with the guesthouse, and has a separate entrance.
We have a dog named Phoebe, who is adorable! We give our tenants their privacy, but are always around if you need anything. We are really looking for someone who is responsible, reliable and kind.
