This studio is beautifully is furnished with everything you need for a lovely stay in NYC. The studio is a couple blocks from Park Avenue, and a few blocks to Madison Square Park, which is a bustling hub of energy. Union Square is a fifteen minute walk away, as well. There are restaurants and bars all around. I’ve decorated my space carefully and will make sure you have everything you need for an easy, restful visit. I cook often in my studio - the kitchen is small but fully equipped - and you’d be welcome to use everything at your disposal with care, too.
A few other things to note: There is no laundry in the building; however, there’s a laundromat just across the street. This is a 4th floor walkup. I do not have a separate WIFI connection - or TV; however, using your phone’s hotspot works just fine to connect to WIFI via laptop. My neighbors are quiet and everyone in the building is respectful and kind.
I’ll be on an artist residency that month and hoping to rent my space to one or two people visiting Manhattan or looking for a short term stay in between things. There are a few subways within short walking distance, especially the 6 train.
I’m a female writer, teacher, and visual artist. My studio apartment is my sanctuary. I’m leaving for the month to an artist residency in upstate NYC - and won’t be easily accessible. However, I will do my best to check in once a week to make sure everything is going well. I’ve been given permission from the Landlord to sublet for the month; the super is friendly and available; my neighbors are kind and quiet.
Prior to making an agreement, we will have a facetime/google meet conversation to ensure all parties are comfortable! You can see the apartment that way, ask me any questions you like, and I can get to know you better. First, please send me an email with a bit about yourself, when you’re hoping to visit and why.
I’d be happy to consider weekly stays on case by case basis. Price will be $1250 per week.
Utilities not included.
Small dog allowed - on case by case basis.
