Room for rent in a light-filled 3 bed 2 bath apartment. Top floor of a 4 floor walk-up. Washer/ Dryer in unit, and window A/C units in the living room and bedrooms. The Living Room has two north-facing windows plus a skylight.

The available bedroom has one south-facing window and fits a Queen mattress. Equipped with a hot water radiator and window A/C unit. Small closet & the linen closet in the hallway would be yours. You would be sharing a bathroom with another person.

The apartment is officially Boerum Hill, but it’s kinda the Times Square of Brooklyn sans the tourists. Hear me out:

Urban Design & Transit Hub - Strangely triangulated intersection right above Atlantic Terminal (B, D, N, R, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5). And less than a 10 minute walk to the A, C, and G trains. The LIRR is also nearby and it makes it very nice and easy to get to and from JFK.

Entertainment, Retail, and Restaurants - The apartment sits between Barclays and BAM. Other venues, like Roulette and the newly opened Brooklyn Paramount are both a short walk away. Various bodegas, Whole Food and Mr. Mango all nearby. Trader Joe's about a 10 minute walk. Target is conveniently across the aforementioned triangulated intersection. Check E. Cheese, McDonalds, and Applebees (joking, except they really are across the street). I tend to go out in Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, DTBK, and Park Slope as they are all easily accessible by foot.

We are two, platonic gay males in our 30's.

I’m a 38 year old gay male originally from CA and have been living in Brooklyn for four years. I'm an architect and work full-time in the office. I am generally extroverted, but I like the apartment to be a reprieve from the city and enjoy a quiet home.

My current roommate, who is remaining in the primary suite, is a freelance fashion photographer and works from home full-time. He travels to the West Coast periodically.
