It's a clean environment in a doorman and elevator bldg. with a freight elevator, and loading dock.
It’s an ideal studio for hosting visits- big expanses of wall, good work tables, everything on casters. You can hang things on the wall and not have to patch holes when you leave (within reason). Most art ppl are familiar with the building.
As a subletter, you will also have the option to participate in Dumbo Open Studios in April, which thousands of people attend, and can even be included in the promo materials.

My limitations:
No toxic fumes, no super messy or dusty work. I will keep 1/4 of the space for storage and will need occasional access.

I am a mid-career artist who has been working in NYC for years.
My studio is my haven when I am not traveling and it's my full time work space. I would love to get a person or people in this space who will get as much out of it as I have over the years. It's been a huge game changer for me to have so much space in such a desirable location and to be able to spread out, hang lots of works at once, host students, collectors and museum groups, etc.
