We are seeking a meticulous, detail-oriented individual who is adaptable and willing to take on multiple responsibilities within our accounting department. This person will serve as an integral member of the management team, contributing to both financial operations and accounting decision-making.
Timing : Full-Time On-site Schedule: Mondays through Wednesday 9:00AM to 6:00PM

The position is an opportunity to learn the inner workings of New York apartment building management, office administration, and collaborative teamwork.
Your Responsibilities include:
Maintain and update QuickBooks accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all financial data is current and properly categorized.
Review, process, and pay invoices across the enterprise, maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with payment schedules.
Diligently prepare and make deposits, verifying all incoming payments and ensuring they are properly recorded and applied.
Assist with tenant interactions, either in person or over the phone, to address and resolve accounting-related inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
Review tenant ledgers regularly, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies that require correction or follow-up.
Demonstrate a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the accounting department and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Collaborate with the broader management team to align financial practices with operational goals and contribute to a well-organized, efficient department.
Qualifications for Bookkeeper
1+ years of previous Bookkeeping or Accounting- Related | RelatedClerical Experience
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with bookkeeping practices, preferably through coursework or relevant experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to internal systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines accurately.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous approach to tenant and vendor interactions.
Competent working with Google suite, with a heavy emphasis on Sheets
Possess a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team
Ability to speak Spanish is a PLUS
Willing to work outside your shifts and weekends if needed to complete task(s) during busy seasons
