Job Description**: We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and organized individual to provide personalized support to a charismatic and kind 28-year-old man with autism.
After living most of his life with direct family support, the adult and his family are working together to take the next steps to move him into his own apartment. The person who fills the role of Support Coach will help the adult build upon his existing independent living skills, and identify gaps where he needs additional support. Eventually, when all parties determine the individual is ready, the support coach will work with the team to move the adult into his own residence and set up the apartment with the support of a full team.
In addition to the above, the role involves assisting the adult with daily living activities, fostering social skills, and facilitating community engagement. The ideal candidate is a dedicated and motivated individual who has a background in supporting neurodiverse adults and is looking for a meaningful, long-term position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Assist with daily living skills (ADLs) to ensure the individual stays safe and clean, including keeping his space tidy, supporting personal hygiene, planning weekly meals, checking/responding to messages, and scheduling social appointments.
-Support with arranging group activities and coordinating transportation; accompany the individual when appropriate.
-Assist with light meal preparation and cooking in collaboration with the household team.
-Track and log detailed notes on wellbeing and ADL progress.
-Coordinate with the client’s team to ensure seamless care; participate in weekly team meetings to review progress and discuss needs.
-Work closely with the team to identify gaps in support and connect with additional resources and providers as needed.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:30-9:30pm*; 30+ hours/week (with opportunities and potential for more hours if interested.)

Benefits: Employees who maintain at least 30 hours a week for 60 days are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance. Employees will also accrue Paid Time Off and will be eligible for a 403B retirement plan.
