Quiet and full of natural light. Desk and chair available if you want a WFH setup. Happy to remove anything you don't need — the space is yours to make your own.
The apartment: A duplex with great light throughout and two outdoor spaces — a balcony off the kitchen and a rooftop garden on the top floor. Shared full kitchen with lots of storage, new fridge, microwave, and stovetop. Cosy shared living room with an L-shaped couch and TV. There is great storage throughout the apartment.
The roommates: Two roommates, Kat (she/her) and Teddy (he/him) late 20s to early 30s, all professionals. We're a mix of work-from-home and office days, get along well, and can be social, but we all value independent living and respect each other's space. Quiet building, easy dynamic.
Dates and timing: Available May 1. Listed for May and June, with the possibility of extending — in active conversation with the landlord and will know more soon. A great option for a summer stay, a new arrival to the city, or someone wanting to try Greenpoint before committing to a longer lease. Option to start a little earlier (at the very end of April)
The neighbourhood: Greenpoint is one of Brooklyn's most liveable neighbourhoods. Incredible food, cafes, and bars on your doorstep. Walk to the waterfront and McCarren Park in 10 minutes. Great supermarkets nearby. The G train is 5 minutes away at Nassau Ave or Greenpoint Ave. Strong gym options close by. 4th floor walkup- worth every step for the light.
