Bright and thoughtfully designed studio apartment in North West London, ideal for solo travellers, visiting academics, creatives, writers and remote professionals seeking a calm and well-connected London base for shorter stays.

The flat combines efficient use of space with a warm, lived-in atmosphere, abundant natural light and excellent transport connections to Central London – under 20 minutes to Bond Street station.

The studio is fully self-contained and carefully arranged to make the most of its compact layout, and is best suited to one guest. A loft bed designed for single occupancy creates a clear separation between sleeping and working areas, with a large desk and ergonomic office chair underneath, ideal for remote work, research or study.

The apartment includes:
• private bathroom with shower
• compact kitchen
• dedicated workspace
• Wi-Fi
• strong heating
• air conditioning

The south-facing aspect keeps the studio bright throughout the day and gives the space an airy and pleasant feel even during winter months.

The location is particularly convenient for Central London universities and research institutions including UCL, SOAS, King’s College London, Imperial College London, University of Westminster and Regent’s University London. It is also well situated for psychotherapy, mental health and healthcare professionals working with institutions such as the Tavistock Centre, Anna Freud Centre and Royal Free Hospital.

Guests have private access to the entire studio, with flexible self check-in available.

This is a genuine lived-in London home rather than a corporate-style rental, best suited to guests who appreciate cosy, practical and characterful spaces with warmth and authenticity. The building has a friendly and lively atmosphere typical of many well-connected inner London residential buildings.

About This Lister

I’m Barbara, a project manager and psychotherapist in training currently living between London and Rome. I divide my time between professional work, clinical training, travel and creative/research projects, and I enjoy hosting independent and thoughtful guests looking for a comfortable and well-connected base in the city.

I particularly enjoy welcoming academics, postgraduate students, writers, artists, therapists, researchers and remote professionals visiting London for teaching, conferences, workshops, placements, creative projects or shorter work periods.

I value calm, respectful and lived-in spaces, and I try to offer the kind of environment I appreciate myself when travelling and working remotely.
