Hi! I’m looking for a roommate to share my spacious, light-filled 2BR/1BA in a quiet elevator building with a 24-hour doorman.

The apartment has a generous, airy layout with lots of windows and an eat-in kitchen. I live in the smaller bedroom and use a large portion of the living room as my workspace—so that area is primarily mine. The rest of the living room, kitchen, and bathroom are shared.

The Room:
A large bedroom (~11.5’ x 20’) with a walk-in closet and windows on two sides (north and west), with soft, consistent light throughout the day. Unfurnished, though I can provide a full-size bed frame if helpful.

The Building & Location:
Elevator building with a 24-hour doorman, laundry in the basement, and a calm, neighborly feel. Right by the Church Ave F/G stop, close to Prospect Park and Green-Wood Cemetery, with several grocery stores within a block (one right downstairs).

About This Lister

I’m a visual artist and garden designer in my late 40s and have lived here for about five years. I split my time between working from home a few days a week and being out in the city. I like art, plants, and being in the nature.

I keep a clean, calm home and value a space that feels easy and grounded. I’m friendly and open to conversation or sharing a meal from time to time, and I’m happy to have occasional guests—while also appreciating personal space and quiet.

Looking For:
Someone with a similar rhythm—clean, considerate, communicative, and respectful of shared space. Comfortable with a partially shared living room setup and attuned to a calm home environment.

I’d especially love to live with someone a bit more mature, and I tend to feel most comfortable sharing space with another woman. Ideally, I’m looking for someone interested in a longer-term living situation.
