Sunny Williamsburg Railroad!
Looking to swap for the month of June in Paris!!
Two blocks from the Bedford L train, three blocks from McCarren park. Surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and little shops.
I've lived here for six years and put a lot of love into the space. Mid-century modern furniture (including a sit-to-stand Herman Miller desk), a well-stocked kitchen, and over-flowing bookshelves.
This apartment gets plenty of light and provides different nooks for reading, working, cooking, resting, etc. Despite being on a busy street, it's quiet inside, and I sleep well.
The apartment is in a small building (only three units) and I'm close with my neighbors. Overall, it's a sweet feeling on this corner. We all know one another at this point!
Most importantly, I'm looking for a June exchange in Paris (I love the 11th arr but I'm open to any neighborhood on the right bank!) In an ideal world, this could form into a more long term relationship as I'm hoping to spend more and more time in Paris.
There is a laundromat one block away and my favorite gym (Chalk!) is also just around the corner <3
I've lived in New York for fifteen years and while I still love it dearly, I'm craving a little change. I used to work as a film editor and more recently, I received an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia, and I am currently finishing my first novel.
I'm originally from Santa Fe and I do love spending time outdoors - basking in the park or hiking upstate. I also have a small dog (schnauzer mix) and he is a great city pup. Quiet in apartments and happy trotting on a busy street.
Other things to know - I love galleries, museums, good food, etc. Would treat any home with kindness and love!
