Apartment gem in artist's brownstone on charming historic block. Clean, Bohemian space with antique furnishings and unique artistic beauty. Floor through apartment leading to beautiful outdoor garden space. Very small kitchenette for modest cooking. Located on a historic Chelsea block with great access to subways, CitiBike, High Line, Hudson River, galleries, & great restaurants & cafes within steps.
Best suited for single person as either live or live/work space. Perhaps someone from out-of-town, abroad or someone coming in and out the city for work.
I am the owner and live and work in the brownstone. Since I occasionally have historians and curators to tour the home/studio, I will need access to the space for a brief tour. Of course, all is coordinated beforehand.
The apartment will be available again (long term) after August 10, 2026.
I live and work in the upper floors of the brownstone. I am happy to have someone in the garden apartment who would benefit from this modest, inspirational space, and be respectful towards its uniqueness.
Must be mature, responsible person who can live/work in alignment with this unique artistic space.
