Caregiver/house assistant for woman in her 70s

Seeking a caregiver/house assistant to help my 79-year old mother who lives alone in Cambridge, MA. She has severe respiratory illnesses and is very active and capable, but is at a stage where she needs assistance around the house and with various personal needs. She also needs someone who can attend doctors appointments with her and respond quickly in emergency situations.

Tasks include:
-house duties like grocery shopping, preparing meals, organizing (*not* cleaning)
-running errands
-arranging and attending doctors appointments, picking up prescriptions
-administrative duties like paying bills

My mother is smart, funny, and talkative - so we'd love to find someone who is chatty and personable. We're looking for someone with caregiving experience who has a high level of patience.

$25-$40/hr (can be discussed)
