Our cheery, art and book-filled fully furnished apartment is in the southern boundary of Prospect Lefferts Garden (PLG), on Clarkson Ave, between Flatbush and Bedford Aves. It’s 1.5 blocks from the southeastern corner of Prospect Park. Closest trains are Parkside Q (a brisk 5 min walk away) and Prospect Park B/Q/S (10 min).

The 1 br, 1 bath unit is on the second floor of a renovated pre-war walk-up and is set away from the street so it stays quiet. It faces the back of an apartment building on one side and overlooks a row of lovely brownstone gardens on another. There is also a second room currently set up as a study / TV room with a queen size pull-out couch. Laundry onsite in the basement.

The neighborhood is truly our happy place with an abundance of fun local bars and restaurants, conveniently situated grocery stores, Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and Brooklyn Museum all well within walking distance. Plus you can get into Manhattan within half an hour on an express train or the ocean in the other direction.

We are a gay (both he/him) married couple and have lived in this apartment for almost seven years. We both work in nonprofits and love to keep our space as a quiet, clean sanctuary while we travel or bop around the city.
