I am subletting my beautiful, cozy historical 2BR 2 bath house with a backyard garden in the quaint village of Cold Spring NY.

The house is on a quiet street just around the corner from Main Street with many cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops. The house is a 5 min walk from the Metro-North train station and the Hudson River with the magnificent, iconic views of the mountains just across. If you need to commute into the city it’s a quick (75 mins) and beautiful ride along the Hudson to Grand Central or Harlem 125th stop.

The house is a 10 minute walk to the West Point Foundry Preserve with access to the Constitution Marsh for birdwatching, a creek and a beautiful waterfall, great for morning walks or jogging. Many hiking trails and the Little Stony Point beach on the Hudson are within walking distance.

The supermarket is a 10 mins walk from the house, and Saturday morning farmer’s market at Boscobel is a 5 mins drive along 9D, also walkable if desired.

There are many beautiful lakes and waterfalls in the area. DIA Beacon and Magazzino Museum of Italian art are a 15 min drive, as well as Chuang Yen Chinese Buddhist monastery. Restoration Chapel and St. Mary’s church in the village offer great concerts. Long Island Sound beaches are 1hr 15 min drive.

I am looking for a quiet, clean and responsible person, couple or family wanting to enjoy the beauty of Cold Spring and the magic of the Hudson Valley.

I am renting at cost. The price includes WiFi and utilities based on average monthly use.

I absolutely love living in Cold Spring, and have been in this house for 4 years now, with my son who is 11. The village is beautiful and walkable on foot, and nature here is powerful and magical. The view of the Hudson River included in the photos is a 5-10 minutes stroll from the House.

I am a clinical herbalist and holistic wellness educator. In my backyard you will find aromatic and medicinal plants you are welcome to use in teas, mocktails and cooking during your stay.
