I have a furnished room available in East Village. (Ave A and 4th). The unit is a 3bd 1 bth with a spacious living area and kitchen. I currently live in one of the bedrooms with my partner Matt, and our dog and cat. The second bedroom is being used as an office/studio space. The available room is tucked in the back, a quiet and private space to rest and recharge. There is one shared bathroom in the unit with a walk in shower. It’s an old space which is what gives it its charm. Wide wood floor boards, exposed brick and french style south facing windows in the living room, amazing for plants. A great cooking space in kitchen. 5th floor walk up.

The room is furnished with queen sized bed, sitting chair, work desk, dresser and closet space. There is a window a/c for summer, baseboard heaters for winter. There is a wall a/c in the living room. We have a portable washer that can hook up in bathroom to save on laundromat trips.

Looking for a roommate that will continue to invite a creative and relaxing energy into the home. Cleanliness is important as well as good communication and sense of community. Room is furnished. Internet, electric and twice a month cleaner for shared spaces included.

Medium sized brown dog and a black cat live here. Both very sweet. Must keep bedroom door closed to prevent dog going in.

Matt (he/him) is a software engineer. He works from home, in the office. Will typically step out for the evening to socialize. Loves to put on a vinyl and set the mood.

We don’t cook so much, but are very much trying to change that and love to share a meal.
