I’m subletting my spacious 1BR (1,000 sq ft) in a beautiful brownstone on Washington Ave. The apartment has tons of charm and character — original crown molding, big windows, high ceilings, and you've got the whole parlor (first) floor to yourself, so it’s quiet and cozy. There’s plenty of room to spread out, with a primary bedroom, queen bed (the MCM dresser and closet will be emptied out for you to store clothing) and large living/dining room for dinners and/or working from home (I’ll leave a monitor for you). Also a projector, record player, and Bluetooth speaker system for movies or listening to music.
It's under a 10 minute walk to Fort Greene Park and right off DeKalb Avenue with Brooklyn's best restaurants at your doorstep (Roman’s, Sailor, Theodora, Saraghina). A great place to be on a Saturday for the farmer's market!
It's a peaceful spot with easy access to everything and less than a minute walk to the G train at Clinton-Washington. Looking to sublet to someone who will treat it with care.
I'll be in London visiting my boyfriend, so open to swapping if you're the unicorn I'm looking for, otherwise looking to do $1,500K week to cover my expenses while in London. Priority will go to those who are able to be here for the two weeks.
All utilities are included. I'm looking for someone who will care for and be kind to my home and plants.
I'm in my mid-30's, live alone and have been living in Brooklyn for 14 years (in Clinton Hill neighborhood for 5+, in this very apartment!). I'm the digital director at an international human rights non-profit, avid cyclist, ceramicist, knitter, and beekeeper. I'm a bit of a neatfreak so my apartment is quite clean and organized.
$1700 deposit and I have a template agreement I'll want you to sign!
I don't have pets but if you do and you're interested, let's talk!
