Getting there:
The town of Aljezur can be reached by Car or Bus from Lisbon (Redo Express).
Nearest Airport: Faro airport is about a 50-minute drive from the house , Lisbon airport is a very direct 2hr45 minute drive. Buses run daily on the hour between Lisbon and Aljezur. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk from the house.

Transportation:
If you are planning to explore the Algarve region, car rental is advisable. The nearest car rental pick up is in Lagos, about a 45 minute drive from the house. Faro airport is also a good resource for car rentals as well as Lisbon. The local taxi stand is a 2 minute walk from the house, which can be used to go to beaches and nearby towns. Bike rentals are also available in the town at the local surf shop and in the old town center.
