Looking to rent one bedroom in a two bedroom apartment in Cobble Hill for one year. My current roommate is having a career change and moving out of the apartment, so looking to bring on a lovely new person in.
- This is the bigger bedroom of the two and easily fits a full/queen size bed, desk, drawer, with plenty of room to spare. Room will come unfurnished for the most part
- Plenty of light coming in from the large bedroom and living room windows.
- The living room will experience some changes due to roommate moving our some belongings, but I am looking to invest in the space (new couch for one) that I will only ask you to respect.
- There is individual AC/heating in each bedroom and living room, and laundry and elevator in the building. Plus there's an outdoor patio for the building residents.
- All the standard renting requirements apply here (proof of income, pay stubs, bank statements, etc.). First month's rent and security deposit will be required as well.
I grew up in Brooklyn, so I'm a little biased when I say the location can't be beat. You're in the heart of Cobble Hill with plenty of restaurants, bars, boutiques on Smith and Court. The F and G trains are a block away and you can get into Manhattan in 10 minutes, by train or Citibike (I always hop on the ebikes).
About me:
I am a professional in his mid 20s working in tech. I head into the office a few times a week, and some days I'll be working from home. I'm flexible with your working schedule if you do as well.
I take care of the spaces around me, and looking for the same from the person who takes the room next. I am friendly and would definitely love to get to know you and be more than just roommates who merely share a hi in the hallway. At the same time, our lives are very full so this is all within reason. I'm open to any gender, as long you value communication and respect.
Please reach out to learn more and ask any questions! I'll probably have a video call with you before inviting you to come check out the place for yourself over the coming week or two.
