We are a community home in Bed Study on Lewis & Greene Ave. Our home contains 6 bedrooms 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, roof access, a full backyard with grape vines, rose bush, fire pit, and peach trees, and in-unit washer-dryer. Sublet bathroom includes claw-foot bathtub with heated floors.
The building has two entrances, one on the ground level and one on the parlor level. The brownstone is a 15-minute walking distance from four major subway lines and is within a 2-5 minute walking distance from 3 different city buses. The neighborhood contains corner stores, a supermarket, coffee shops, a diner, bars, and restaurants between 1-10 minutes walking distance.
About the room:
The room is small and cozy and faces Greene Ave (north side of the house). It is pre-furnished. There is a small storage closet inside the room and a full-sized wardrobe in the hall just outside the primary bathroom. There is a murphy table that can be left up or folded down for additional space.
About This Lister
We are 6 creatively driven freelancers in our 30s + our kitty Pico and beagle Sweet Potato * (more info below). A few of us work from home and a few work away from the house full time. Though we all live very independent lifestyles and run in different circles outside the home, we all genuinely enjoy each other's company and love sharing laughs together during our morning coffee or over a bottle of wine. We are all very expressive, communicative & mindful of each other's well-being. There are occasional movie nights & collabs on dinners.
Nothing is mandatory except for washing your dishes & leaving common areas tidy.

We request a security deposit equivalent to your first month's rent. This deposit will be returned provided it doesn't need to be used to cover damages.
No smoking of any kind is permitted indoors at any time or on the property. No pets (we already have a cat and a dog). Cost of sublet includes utilities.
The home also splits the cost of shared supplies on as-needed basis (every 2-3 months). These include toilet paper, cleaning supplies, kitchen soap, laundry detergent, olive oil, spices, etc. It usually amounts to around $20-$40 per person. If you are staying for an extended period (>30 days) you may be asked to contribute!
