Lovely East Village apartment for rent during some World Cup events, plus a neighborhood full of great food, drink, and activities during your stay.
In the heart of the East Village, our 1 bedroom 1 bathroom + office apartment offers a true NYC experience. Situated on a block with a multiple restaurants, bars, and bodegas, you will never need to go very far for anything you want or need. The F and 6 trains are also both within 5-10 minute walks, and multiple bus lines are as close as 1 minute away.
Go up 2 flights of stairs (unfortunately the building is not ADA accessible), and the space offers comfortable sleeping for 3 people, or 4 if someone would be okay sleeping on our extra-deep couch. We have a full kitchen with dishwasher, and laundry in the building. The rent includes all utilities, and you are welcome to use any streaming services we are subscribed to (which is most of them).
Our apartment is professionally cleaned regularly, but we do have a short-hair dog whose hair is impossible to fully remove from the home. He is not hypoallergenic, however I will say as an active dog allergy sufferer he has never bothered me.
The main bedroom is off the living room with a Queen-size bed, and the office/2nd bedroom is on the other end of the apartment with a large chair that folds out to a Twin XL size bed (plus we have a memory-foam topper for it). The apartment is interior facing in the back of the building, so while there isn't much of a view, there also isn't much street noise.
Our style is more maximalist than chic, but we believe this creates a very cozy vibe. We love love love our neighborhood, and will give you as many recommendations as you want.
My name is Rebecca, and myself, my partner Spencer, and our dog Alonzo have called this apartment home since early 2022. We are the owners of the unit, so provide extra love and care to every detail of our home. I work fully remote meaning I spend a LOT of time in the space, and try to ensure it stays somewhere I enjoy being.
When you stay in our home you will see our space shows off our personalities and hobbies -- magnets from some of our recent travels, artwork depicting things and places close to our hearts (New Orleans, California, NYC, Alonzo), blankets I've crocheted, quilts Spencer's mom has made, cookbooks Spencer enjoys, etc.
$200 deposit required at confirmation, which will then be applied to total cost of stay.
